ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY 

NP Digital is a fast-growing digital marketing agency looking to bring on board a driven and experienced billing specialist to support various accounting tasks across the agency.

As a member of the Accounting team, you should be able to work alone and within a team. Ideally, we want someone who is highly motivated and can communicate effectively with team members and business partners while using their interpersonal and analytical skills to understand the needs of the business. 

To be considered candidates must reside and be eligible to work in the United States, and will be working within Mountain time zone.

ABOUT THE RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Accurately enter and process sales orders and issue invoices in a timely manner
  • Read and interpret client contracts and determine the impact on client billing
  • Diligently follow sales orders through to completion, working with appropriate parties to quickly resolve issues that delay timely processing
  • Apply client payments to sales orders and record daily deposits
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries about client billing
  • Perform client follow-ups regarding overdue invoices
  • Possess the flexibility necessary to multi-task in a demanding, fast-paced technical environment
  • Suggest areas for workflow improvement with internal and external processes along with possible solutions for improved efficiency, accuracy, speed and quality
  • Prepare statements and various reports as needed
  • Assist in month end close procedures
  • Other accounting duties as assigned 

ABOUT THE REQUIREMENTS 

  • 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience
  • General knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to consistently meet goals and deadlines with little direct oversight
  • Must have strong quantitative analytical skills and be able to think strategically
  • Proven self-starter and independent problem-solving ability
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining high quality work. 
  • Experience in the MS Office Suite, including Excel (pivot tables, lookups, and various commonly used formulas in the accounting industry) required
  • Experience with NetSuite a plus

ABOUT THE COMPENSATION 

  • Base Salary: USD $50,000.00 to $60,000.00; depending on experience and skills 
  • Discretionary annual bonus: Up to 10% of annual salary
