As one of the largest tech platforms for a huge industry (the phone or computer you’re reading this on was, after all shipped), we’ve been crushing it with double-digit growth, year after year. 

We are already the world’s largest digital air cargo booking platform and we have a lot of people who are already coming to us from companies of all shapes and sizes. We also have a lot more prospects who don’t know how much better we can make their freight lives. 

So, we’re looking for an eBooking Sales Executive who lives in Eastern North America, who can use traditional field sales and relevant marketing strategies, including social media prospecting and outbound calling, to help prospect new customers and protect current customers. Our ideal applicant has field and virtual sales experience, is driven, and has knowledge of the logistics industry (emphasis on Air but LTL would be nice too). We will provide specific on-the-job training related to our sales, marketing strategies and products.

You’ll meet with prospective clients and encourage them to sign up for our platform and also meet with our current customers to help them understand how to use our platform, help answer any questions or rectify issues and in doing so, you’ll watch their booking count grow.

So overall, you will help lead the global transformation of the industry, introducing them to a radically faster way to book freight (Air and Ground!) and any of our other products that meet their needs.


Responsibilities

  • You’ll work with potential customers, upon doing so you will contact & nurture a relationship with them through various sales tools, emails, and phone calls.
  • You’ll engage with customers that have used the platform but may have reverted to more traditional methods to find out why and how we can get them back to using the platform. 
  • As the tool that we depend on, you’ll keep our CRM squeaky-clean & updated with vigilant qualification and assignment of leads, based on geographies, products, and user types.
  • You’ll meet the customers where they prefer to be met, whether it is in person or on-line.
  • You love giving customers what they need! You will need to understand and have the ability to demo our different products to customers and prospects alike.
  • You thrive on bringing in new customers and bringing back ones that have stopped using the platform, therefore you will have KPIs based on the number of new accounts that you sign up and bring back to our eBooking and SaaS products. 
  • You can bring in your techy side by having the responsibility to make sure the accounts are set up correctly in our systems. Basically, giving our customers the power to book & get hooked on our platforms!



Requirements

Basic Requirements

  • You've got to be a word wizard! Whether you're writing or chatting, your English communication skills should be top-notch.
  • You should have at least 2 years in upselling to existing customers and finding new customers. 
  • Very capable to sell on the phone and in person
  • Great training and communication skills to be able to help new users understand the platform, and help them adopt a new way of booking freight. 
  • Capacity to meet targets. 
  • Proactive, results-oriented, and able to work independently. 
  • Speaking of colleagues, we love team players. Which team doesn’t?
  • Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents (Green Card holders), or Canadian citizens/permanent residents, and legally authorized to work in either country without the need for employer sponsorship.
  • Location: Eastern North America, such as Toronto, Montreal, New York, Massachusetts, New Jersey, or Philadelphia


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the air cargo or freight forwarding industry, or experience in an online transactional business company (meaning a tech company whose revenue is coming from price per online transaction)
  • Bilingual (Spanish or French preferred)
  • Experience at global companies.
