Job Description

We're looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our client's team. Key Responsibilities

• System Security - Manage and enforce security best practices across servers, networks, and applications. Conduct regular security audits and manage vulnerabilities.
• Backup and Recovery - Design, implement, and manage backup systems for disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Infrastructure Maintenance - Perform regular maintenance on Linux/Ubuntu servers to ensure optimal performance, uptime, and scalability.
• Proactive Monitoring and Alerts - Implement and configure monitoring tools to set up downtime alerts and health checks, ensuring prompt detection and resolution of issues.
• Monitoring and Response - Actively monitor and address system alerts, ensuring minimal downtime. Be available during off-hours for critical incidents.
• System Health Optimization - Continuously analyze system performance, logs, and resolve infrastructure-related issues to prevent downtime.
• Networking & Proxies - Ensure seamless network operations, focusing on proxy setups, load balancing, and traffic routing.
• Golang Development - Collaborate on internal tools and services written in Golang, particularly related to proxies and networking.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven Experience in DevOps - Extensive experience in DevOps, infrastructure management, Golang, and system security.
• Backup and Recovery Expertise - Ability to design, implement, and manage backup systems for disaster recovery and business continuity.
• Proficiency in Monitoring Tools - Skilled in setting up and managing monitoring tools and downtime alerts.
• Networking Knowledge - Strong understanding of networking protocols, particularly in relation to forward proxies and load balancers.
• Golang Development - Experience in Golang development for infrastructure and automation tasks.
• Containerization Tools - Knowledge of tools like Docker.
• Analytical Skills - Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
