We are hiring a Hybrid Territory Sales and New Business Development Representative. 


The Hybrid Territory Sales and New Business Development representative is responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market share within a designated territory. This role involves a combination of new business development and account management to secure inspection contracts, as well as the follow up repairs, new equipment, and modernization services to 

existing customers.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • New Business Development:
    • Identify and target potential new customers within the overhead crane industry.
    • Conduct cold calls and outreach to generate leads and schedule meetings.
    • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to secure inspection contracts mandated by OSHA.
    • Negotiate and close deals to meet sales targets.
  • Territory Management:
    • Manage and maintain existing customer relationships.
    • Upsell additional services, including repairs, new equipment, and modernizations.
    • Provide excellent customer service and address customer inquiries and concerns.
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the local market and competitive landscape.
    • Plan and execute sales activities within the assigned territory.
    • Track sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements

 Education & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the overhead crane or material handling industry.
  • Strong new business development skills, including cold calling and lead generation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated and results oriented.
  • Experience in Business Development, account management or customer relationship management.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and industry standards.
  • Experience with overhead crane equipment and operations.
