Job Summary
The Senior Business Development Manager – HPI Strategic Growth will play a crucial role in establishing our organization as one of Hewlett Packard Inc. (HPI)'s leading delivery partners in the U.S. This role is dedicated to expanding our lifecycle services footprint with HPI by building strong, strategic business relationships, leading stakeholder mapping, and aligning our company’s goals with HPI's vision. This individual will act as a vital link between HPI and our operations team, driving collaborative initiatives and activating HPI sales teams to capture new opportunities and grow our partnership.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Positioning with HPI: Establish our company as a preferred U.S. delivery partner, driving alignment with HPI's goals and objectives.
- Stakeholder Mapping & Relationship Building: Develop and execute a comprehensive stakeholder mapping strategy to deepen relationships with key HPI stakeholders.
- Sales Activation: Lead a business development process aimed at educating and activating HPI sales teams to promote our lifecycle services.
- Operational Collaboration: Ensure seamless alignment between HPI’s objectives and our operational capabilities, acting as a liaison to guarantee delivery excellence.
- Revenue Growth: Drive revenue by maximizing business opportunities within HPI’s ecosystem, meeting and exceeding set targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Stakeholder Mapping & Engagement: Conduct comprehensive stakeholder mapping within HPI to identify key decision-makers, build executive-level relationships, and create a strategic engagement plan.
- Strategic Partnership Development: Cultivate a deep understanding of HPI’s goals and align our lifecycle services offerings to become a strategic solution for their client base.
- Sales Enablement & Activation: Lead efforts to educate and activate HPI sales teams on our offerings, developing resources and strategies to drive engagement and generate new business opportunities.
- Liaison to Operations: Act as the primary connection between HPI’s account needs and our operations team, facilitating clear communication, addressing challenges, and ensuring alignment on service delivery.
- Performance Monitoring: Set and track KPIs to measure growth, revenue, and partner engagement, providing regular updates to the VP of Growth and Strategy.
- Market Analysis: Continuously monitor industry trends, HPI’s evolving needs, and competitors to identify new areas of opportunity and adapt strategies accordingly.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years in business development or strategic partnerships, ideally with a focus on lifecycle services and experience working closely with HPI or other major OEMs.
- Relationship Management: Proven experience in stakeholder mapping and relationship building with key decision-makers in large organizations.
- Sales Enablement Expertise: Background in activating and collaborating with sales teams to drive partner-led growth.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of lifecycle services, the technology sector, and the competitive landscape.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with both internal and HPI teams.
- Analytical and Strategic Thinking: Ability to assess market trends and partner needs, with a strategic mindset focused on long-term relationship building.
