Job Description:

As an E-commerce Accountant, you’ll play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of a dynamic, multi-channel clothing brand. This role requires a proactive, analytical, and de tail-oriented professional who can handle accounting and bookkeeping tasks as the primary responsibility while also supporting operations such as inventory planning, forecasting, logistics, and supply chain management.  This position offers a unique opportunity to develop your skills in modern e-commerce financial practices while contributing to the growth of a global brand. Job Highlights:

• 20 hours per week 
• Permanent work from home
• Schedule: flexible hours within client business hours Singapore time zone; 5 days a week
• Client Timezone: Singapore

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily bookkeeping tasks using Xero, including data entry from Shopify and Amazon
• Reconcile transactions from multiple e-commerce channels across different currencies
• Prepare comprehensive monthly financial reports, including P&Ls for various market segments
• Create consolidated balance sheets and cash flow statements
• Ensure compliance with Singapore tax regulations and assist with filing procedures
• Handle e-commerce-specific financial tasks and reconciliations
• Maintain accurate financial records across multiple sales channels and currencies
• Analyze financial data to provide insights for business decision-making
• Handle accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank and credit card statements.

Secondary Responsibilities: Operations Support
  • Conduct inventory planning and forecasting to optimize stock levels.
  • Manage logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and implement operational improvements.
  • Monitor and analyze operational metrics to ensure efficiency.
  • Support e-commerce operations as needed (preferred experience).




Requirements
• Self-starter with the initiative to anticipate business needs and work independently.
• Proven experience in accounting and bookkeeping, preferably in an e-commerce environment
• Proficiency in Xero accounting software and familiarity with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon FBA)
• Strong understanding of Singapore tax regulations and filing procedures
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to manage complex financial data across multiple currencies
• Meticulous attention to detail and ​capacity to work independently in a remote setting
• Ability to create clear, insightful financial reports for various stakeholders
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with an international team
• Willingness to work part-time (20 hours per week) aligned with Singapore time zone
• Willingness to work extra hours if required.
• Experience or willingness to learn inventory management, logistics, and supply chain processes.
• Smart, diligent, proactive, and adaptable.
