This is a remote position.

Job Description

As a Bookkeeper for this audio manufacturing innovator, you’ll play a crucial role in maintaining financial accuracy and supporting business growth. This position offers a unique opportunity to apply your financial expertise in a creative industry setting. You’ll manage daily financial operations, provide critical insights for decision-making, and contribute to the company’s expansion plans. Responsibilities
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations across multiple platforms (bank accounts, PayPal, Stripe/Shopify)
  • Match invoices to transactions and follow up on any discrepancies
  • Generate and manage purchase orders for manufacturing components
  • Assist in transitioning to a new accounting system integrated with Shopify
  • Provide regular financial updates and reports to guide business strategy
  • Optimize financial processes to support the company’s scaling efforts
  • Collaborate with management to improve financial tracking and reporting

Requirements
  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in manufacturing or e-commerce
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and willingness to learn new systems
  • Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in financial data management
  • Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple financial tasks efficiently
  • Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and vendors
  • Ability to work independently and proactively identify/resolve financial discrepancies
  • Flexibility to be available during UK business hours for queries occasionally
  • Interest in the music industry and audio technology a plus
