Job description

Air Liquide Healthcare Ireland has over 30 years experience and specialises in treating and monitoring respiratory diseases in the patient's home supporting multiple therapies:

  • Home Oxygen

  • Nebulisers

  • Ventilations

  • Sleep

We currently provide such therapies to over 10,000 patients across Ireland (combined private and public healthcare). Our field based operations team consist of Healthcare Technicians and Patient Care & Sales Specialists, who ensure that our patients receive the support that they need whilst using our equipment. From installation, training on how to use equipment, servicing and removal.


 

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?


 

Air Liquide Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced Quality Manager and Data Protection Officer to join our dynamic team in Ireland. In this multifaceted role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards across our business, while safeguarding sensitive data in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.


 

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to lead on quality and data protection initiatives in a critical sector that directly impacts patient care.

Your responsibilities will include:

Quality Management

  • Ensuring business is compliant with MIA and WDA- documenting deviations, CAPAs, risk management studies, remote self assessments

  • Developing and maintaining both our Quality Management System and IMS

  • Coordinating audits and inspections 

  • Liaising with suppliers and regulatory bodies 

  • Manage Business continuity plans (from definition to training and testing)

Data Protection 

  • Advising on all data protection matters and performing Data Protection Impact Assessments 

  • Driving information security governance and compliance with the EU-GDPR and ISO 27001

  • Risk assessment on companies data processing operations

  • Management of data breaches and near misses 

  • Manage privacy matters with employees, service users and third parties

The ideal person for this role will have strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross functional teams across the business. You will be a natural problem solver, with an analytical mindset and a high attention to detail. 

We are also looking for-

  • Previous experience in a similar role- 2-5 years experience 

  • Background in Quality Management is essential 

  • A good understanding of GMP and GDP

  • Experience in the healthcare or medical gas industry is desired but not essential 

  • Bachelors degree or HND

  • Any relevant training in Data Protection or quality assurance would be beneficial
