Job description

The Inside Sales Advisor is responsible for an assigned territory or portfolio of customers to target for remote sales development calls. Coordinates with field sales team members to understand customers' unique needs and potential sales opportunities. Reaches out to customers to promote new and existing products and services, offer special discounts and promotions, or provide essential account management services. Selects appropriate product information to meet the needs of individual customers, support upselling, and achieve sales targets. Develops connections with customers and may conduct field visits.

Essential Functions:

  • Identify and qualify sales opportunities and engage the appropriate personnel to maximize our chances to win the opportunity.
  • Assist in updating and tracking all whitespace items within Salesforce (SF) for clients in territory.
  • Document all Events/visits, meetings and calls within SF in accordance with Sales Management’s policies, procedures and directives.
  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with our clients
  • Engage C-level employees when needed, to support Client Executive
  • Strive to retain all clients and achieve Customer Excellence by improving NPS scores within territory
  • Customer advocacy
  • Assist CE team with client contacts to identify educational needs, internal process issues, and provide networking opportunities with other customers.
  • Proactively review critical, unresolved situations and frequency of new conversations. Identify trends, escalation needs, and educational opportunities.
  • Assist with identifying clients’ needs to be addressed by other departments within CPSI and collaborate to achieve client satisfaction of those areas of concern.
  • Assist with organizing Regional User Seminars when applicable.
  • Attend “concern event” calls arranged by CR lead to discuss and develop plans for assigned clients.
  • Update BB customer profile (Master File Maintenance and Contacts) and Salesforce as contact changes occur.
  • Assist the CE team to ensure clients are aware of regulatory and/or state mandates as well as our Compliance team.
  • Assist the CE team to promote utilization of the Known Issues offering so clients are aware of release-related software changes, bugs and corrections.
  • Escalate client matters (response to alerts, red flags, poor health) appropriately and timely when needed.
  • Assist the CE team with client's on-boarding, which includes on-boarding kick-off, tracking the process and monitoring expected adoption of EHR and new technology at each stage.
  • Assist the CE team prior to onsite meetings, address whitespace opportunities, expansions, upgrades, etc.

Education/Experience/Certification Requirements

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills.
  • Must be detail oriented and able to follow through on issues to resolution.
  • Must be able to act both independently and as a team member.
  • Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of related experience or equivalent experience
