How you’ll make an Impact
As the Program Manager, you'll focus on keeping multiple projects running smoothly - whether it's spearheading new product development, driving internal improvements, or managing client product rollouts. Your role will center around organizing teams, schedules, and resources to keep everything aligned with company goals and make sure projects are on track, on time, and within budget.
As the main contact for projects, you’ll keep communication flowing between internal teams, clients, and stakeholders. You’ll bring in Scrum practices - guiding teams through sprint planning, daily check-ins, and retrospectives to maintain focus and momentum. You’ll also stay ahead of risks and problems, tackling issues as they arise, while continuously seeking opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiency.

- Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm CST
What you will be doing
- Align project goals with company objectives to ensure R&D and product development priorities support overall business strategy.
- Guide the team toward project decisions, redirect when necessary, and foster collaboration.
- Set meeting agendas and tone, ensuring processes are followed and proactively removing blockers to keep the project on track.
- Ensure clear, timely, and consistent communication with clients, the team, and management, adapting messaging for internal vs. external audiences.
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of projects to ensure timely, on-scope, and within-budget completion. Maintain up-to-date backlog and sprint boards and other reporting tools, including daily burndown reporting.
- Establish project timelines, milestones, and deliverables across R&D, internal, and client-facing projects, ensuring teams stay aligned with project goals.
- Identify, assess, and proactively mitigate risks to minimize disruptions, with regular analysis to address potential issues early.
- Develop and prioritize the project backlog from the start, maintain ongoing backlog grooming, and ensure tasks are prioritized and refined.
- Track task complexity and effort points to monitor team velocity, reporting it to the PMO at the end of each sprint.
- Track and address blockers and impediments that slow progress, escalating to management when additional support is needed.
- Work toward delivering “working software” at the end of each sprint, gathering client feedback to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
- Schedule and lead key Scrum ceremonies, including daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews/demos, and backlog grooming sessions.
- Establish and uphold standardized processes and best practices for project delivery across all project types.
- Regularly collect and analyze project data to identify areas for improvement, streamline workflows, and increase efficiency.
- Coordinate with R&D and product teams to prepare products for client presentations, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Oversee training, documentation, and resources necessary for client-facing phases and product launches.
You’ll be successful in this role if you have
- 8 years of experience in program or project management within relevant fields (technology, product development, R&D, or consulting).
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, or a related field
- Proficient in project management methodologies, specifically Scrum. Skilled in scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Ability to align projects with business goals and objectives. Competence in balancing short-term project needs with long-term strategic priorities.
- Strong written and verbal communication tailored to diverse audiences, including executive stakeholders, technical teams, and clients. Skilled in active listening, feedback, and conflict resolution.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and fostering collaboration. Ability to motivate, support, and guide teams through complex projects.
- Expertise in identifying, analyzing, and mitigating risks. Ability to adapt to changing project demands and make swift decisions.
- Proficient in diagnosing issues and developing effective solutions. Strong analytical skills for evaluating project performance and process improvements.
- Ability to build relationships and manage expectations with internal and external stakeholders. Experience managing client-facing projects with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency with project management software, such as Azure DevOps or similar tools. Basic understanding of R&D and product development processes.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

The base pay range for this position is expected to be between $100,000.00 and $120,000.00 per year, plus an annual on-target bonus if applicable, not all roles are subject to a bonus. The base pay offered may vary depending on multiple non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, and PTO. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

Team members must establish a dedicated safe workspace that is free from distractions, hazards, and that is secure from unauthorized access. This includes following Ntiva’s IT User and Security Policies that include but are not limited to password-protecting all equipment, keeping confidential and proprietary documents secure, refraining from using public Wi-Fi, having adequate arrangements in place to avoid significant interruptions from caregiving responsibilities during work hours (except in emergency situations with manager approval). Any remote work away from a team member’s normal expected dedicated safe workspace must be requested by team member, is subject to review by management, and must adhere to Ntiva policies and procedures.
