We are looking for a Retention Sales Manager to manage the Retention sales team within the GSS Customer Retention Sales Team.

In this role you will use your skills to coordinate and direct the activities of the Retention Sales Team to support the revenue success of both channel and territory renewal sales. Responsibilities include supervising service sales specialists, sales forecasting, and pipeline management. This role will manage the SEMA & CEE Regions.

Responsibilities

  • Sets clear and achievable sales goals for the team in alignment with the organization's overall sales objectives. 

  • Cultivates strong professional relationships with key IT and business executives at the client's organization to identify opportunities and drive ongoing profitable revenue growth.

  • Assesses and manages employee performance, offering guidance and support to individuals in overcoming selling challenges to drive pursuit and deal closure.

  • Conducts in-depth sales forecasting by analyzing historical data and market trends to predict future sales and revenue.

  • Generates and presents comprehensive sales reports to upper management, offering valuable insights into sales performance, trends, and opportunities.

  • Manages the sales budget, making resource allocations, monitoring expenses, and striving for cost-effectiveness.

  • Develops methods for supporting change and innovation across the organization to improve sales efficiency.

  • Delivers continuous training and development programs to empower the sales team with enhanced product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer engagement skills.

  • Ensures that the sales team operates within industry-specific regulations while adhering to legal and ethical standards.

  • Performs talent management responsibilities including recruitment, performance management, coaching, and career development.

Education & Experience Recommended

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.

  • Typically has 7-10 years of job-related experience or 5-7 years of management experience, preferably in sales, business management, project management, or a related field.

  • Fluent English- spoken and written at business level (required)

  • Fluent German- spoken and written (required)

  • Working knowledge of French, Spanish - (would be an advantage)
