Job Title: Home Care HHA/CNA

Location: Silver Spring, MD

Employment Type: Full-Time

Hours/Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate Hospice Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our hospice care team. In this role, you will provide essential personal care and emotional support to patients receiving end-of-life care in their homes. As a Hospice HHA/CNA, you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the comfort, dignity, and quality of life for our patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with personal care needs, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.

  • Help with mobility and repositioning to ensure patient comfort.

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.

  • Monitor and report changes in patients' condition to the supervising nurse.

  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for the patient.

  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Maryland

  • High school diploma or GED.

  • Previous experience in hospice, palliative care, or home health (preferred).

  • Compassionate, patient-focused, and able to provide emotional support to patients and families.

  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
