About the team
The agile team is just over a dozen people dealing with all aspects of a highly technical development and deployment platform, including design, coding, testing and customer support.
We are geographically dispersed on the U.S. east coast and India, working from home or hybrid to an office. This particular position is customer funded. The product includes a compiler, a key-value store non-SQL database, dynamic linkers, communications protocols, device management, string processing, etc.
What you will be doing
· Gathering and refining customer requirements largely by participating in weekly customer conferences; also, in person at visits to the customer site twice a year.
· Responding to customer questions, potentially off hours.
· Design tests to elaborate requirements and participate in designs.
· Develop automated tests.
· Code with attention to security, performance and maintainability.
· Review product and test code.

Bonus if you have
· Experience with C or a closely related language.
· Experience working in a POSIX environment.
· Experience with multiprocessing and/or transactional systems.
· Understanding of systems programming concepts, e.g., locking, memory management.

FIS is committed to providing its employees with an exciting career opportunity and competitive compensation. The pay range for this full-time position is $98,090.00 - $164,800.00 and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay. Please consult with your recruiter about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
