About The Opportunity

Netrix Global is looking for a Lead Security Consultant- vCISO and leader for our clients, offering strategic direction, risk management, and compliance oversight. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity frameworks, regulatory requirements, and best practices. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, and will be adept at working with diverse organizations to enhance their security posture. The individual will assist in helping grow our practice by helping evolve our current offerings around vCISO, security and risk audits, and incident response while identifying new offerings that can be added to our solution portfolio. The individual must be comfortable leading team on challenging projects, communicating with clients’ technical, legal and leadership teams, providing hands-on assistance with incident response activities, and creating and presenting high-quality deliverables.

How You Will Make An Impact
  • Deliver “virtual CISO” advisory engagements for clients on on-going basis.
  • Manage consulting engagements, with a focus on cyber security, risk, incident response. Provide both subject matter expertise and project management experience to serve as the “point person” for engagements.
  • Develop and execute on cybersecurity roadmap for clients to reduce risk, improve posture, meet compliance needs.
  • Assist with refining the Netrix Incident Response program and be responsible for the delivery of the solution, performing tabletop exercises, and being the point person for execution of the program following a security incident.
  • Develop security policies for customers based on their security and business needs.
  • Perform risk assessment projects for customers based on common security frameworks.
  • Recommend and document specific countermeasures and mitigating controls.
  • Assist with scoping prospective engagements, participating in engagements from kickoff through full remediation, and mentoring less experienced staff.
  • Identify, market, and develop new business opportunities.
  • Articulate Netrix’s capabilities in marketing discussions, proposal efforts, and capability briefings
  • Develop comprehensive and accurate reports and presentations for both technical and executive audiences.
  • Utilize Netrix/Microsoft technology to conduct large-scale investigations and examine host and network-based sources of evidence.
What You Will Bring To The Table
  • Minimum 8-10 years of information security experience with prior CISO/CSO and management exper
  • Minimum 5 years of consulting experience.
                  • CISSP, CISM, or other equivalent security certification required.
                  • Prior CSO/CISO and management experience is a plus.
                  • Expertise and knowledge of industry applicable Information security standards and frameworks.
                  • Understanding of information security operating environments and tools.
                  • Self-starter with the ability and confidence to develop and implement their own projects and workload.
                  • Strong written and inter-personal skills.
                  • Proven ability to achieve strong support for an information security program across a diverse set of stakeholders.
                  • Good organization and time management skills and an ability to manage multiple projects.
                  • Demonstrated strong collaborative mindset with the ability to ensure that security requirements are clearly articulated, and effective guidance provided to technologists and business leaders.
                  • Ability to lead a team of highly technical security professionals.
                  • Ability to prepare and review customized contracts for security consulting services.
                  • Working knowledge of state and federal information security, compliance, and privacy procedures such as GDPR and CCPA securities policies.
                  • Ability to interpret state and federal laws, company guidelines, and regulatory rules to determine how they apply to the company.
                  • Ability to work with full confidentiality and a high level of personal integrity.
                  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to draft and deliver scopes of work, technical reports, presentations, and correspondence.
                  • Experience performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with normal activities.
                  • Highly committed, thought leader, innovative and a team player.
