About the Role
As the Head of SEO Operations at Olly Olly, you’ll lead a dynamic team dedicated to producing a high-performing SEO strategy and copy that drives visibility, engagement, and leads for our small-business clients. Overseeing the production of hundreds of conversion-focused SEO websites each month, you’ll bring your expertise in SEO, CRO, and team leadership to develop scalable workflows and processes that deliver exceptional results.
This role is tailor-made for someone who lives and breathes SEO while understanding the nuances of conversion rate optimization (CRO). You’ll partner closely with our SEO, CRO, and creative teams to ensure every piece of content is strategically designed to rank, convert, and provide measurable ROI. - SEO Excellence: Lead the creation of SEO-rich, conversion-focused copy that ranks and drives inquiries, calls, and tangible results for clients.Set High Standards: Establish rigorous benchmarks for content that prioritizes search engine optimization, readability, relevance, and CRO best practices.
- Optimize for Results: Use your expertise to develop workflows and processes that ensure operational efficiency and client ROI.
- Empower Writers: Mentor your team of writers to craft high-impact, search-engine-optimized content designed for both users and search engines.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work with SEO strategists, CRO experts, and creative professionals to implement cohesive, goal-driven strategies.

- CRO Expertise: Proven experience in creating or managing conversion-focused content that drives measurable results.
- Leadership Skills: A track record of building and coaching teams, scaling content production, and maintaining quality at volume.
- Process-Oriented Mindset: Ability to design and implement workflows that maximize efficiency without sacrificing content quality.
- Data-Driven Thinking: Proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs) to track performance, inform strategies, and improve outcomes.
- Technical SEO Knowledge: Understanding of technical SEO principles to collaborate effectively with development teams when needed.
