Job description

Overview:

As a leading engineering firm experiencing rapid nationwide expansion, we are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Integration Manager. This role is essential to ensuring the seamless integration of newly acquired companies into Pape-Dawson’s operations, supporting the company’s growth strategy.

 

The Integration Manager will be responsible for executing integration plans and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient mergers across various departments, including Finance, IT, HR, Marketing, Recruiting, and production teams (Engineering, Planning, Surveying, and Environmental Services). Reporting to the Director of Integration, the Manager will help facilitate 3-5 integrations annually, each lasting 12-18 months, ensuring that business objectives are met and that organizational processes and culture are maintained.

Responsibilities:
  • Support the Director of Integration in leading the successful integration of newly acquired companies, ensuring alignment with Pape-Dawson’s processes and culture.
  • Oversee the execution of integration plans, managing timelines and deliverables to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
  • Coordinate with Finance, IT, HR, Marketing, Recruiting, and production teams to drive a cohesive integration strategy across all relevant functions.
  • Manage the transition of systems, processes, and staff from acquired firms, ensuring smooth integration with minimal operational disruption.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the integration process, providing regular progress updates.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges during the integration process and propose mitigation strategies to ensure projects remain on track.
  • Track integration progress and report key metrics and updates to the Director of Integration and senior leadership.
  • Ensure all integration activities comply with legal, regulatory, and internal company standards.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in integration management or a similar role, preferably in the engineering or professional services industry.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale integrations and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
  • Excellent leadership abilities with the capacity to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to various company locations.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Proactive and strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism.
  • Collaborative team player with strong leadership and motivational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree.
