WHAT YOU’LL DO:

We are seeking an HR Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Strategic Initiatives Manager to work closely with the VP of HR and Culture, head of HR M&A, strategic projects, and employee relations and Risk. The Manager role is pivotal in spearheading human capital initiatives, driving key HR projects, and leading change management and transformation efforts. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic human capital management expertise, critical thinking, project management & change management methodologies, analytical analysis, and the ability to craft, edit, and deliver executive presentations.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with HR leadership to drive the initiation, planning, and execution of HR projects, ensuring alignment with the organization's broader vision and addressing pivotal business challenges and opportunities.
  • Strong knowledge of the M&A Lifecycle; leading and managing from strategy and planning to due diligence, close, and post close integrations including cultural and organizational alignment.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies during the integration process and identify necessary governance and controls.
  • Partner with senior leadership to provide guidance on HR matters, including designing HR programs, processes, and policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in HR programs, processes, and systems executing go-to-market strategies.
  • Analyze HR metrics and data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful executive presentations, ensuring all materials are well-organized and insights are data driven.
  • Craft and oversee project plans, emphasizing the strategy, execution, and continuity of change management workstream activities. Monitor project milestones, timelines, interdependencies, accomplishments, key decisions, potential risks/issues & escalation process, and ensure continuous leadership alignment.
  • Facilitate project-related meetings by preparing agendas, documenting discussions, tracking action items, ensuring timely follow-ups, driving results, and monitoring resource constraints.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support project decision-making.
  • Engage proactively with stakeholders, addressing their concerns within project strategies and cultivating their support for successful project realization.
  • Communicate project goals, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with HR team members and other departments to achieve project objectives.
  • Regularly review and analyze the outcomes of completed HR projects, identifying areas for enhancement, and integrating insights into future project strategies for continuous improvement.
  • Track and communicate the progress of HR initiatives, ensuring stakeholders are informed and engaged.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or related field; MBA or master's degree is a plus.
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in a strategic HR role or as a HR management consultant, with a focus on strategic human capital management and planning, mergers & acquisition, change management, and project management.
  • Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong project management skills with a proven track record of coordinating complex initiatives.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage with senior leadership and various stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics, with a knack for gleaning actionable insights from HR metrics to inform strategy.
  • Adept at Excel, data interpretation, and crafting compelling data presentations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in formulating and presenting high-level presentations that align with executive leadership's expectations.
  • Ability to think strategically and navigate the complexities of a rapidly growing organization.
  • Project Management certification is a strong plus.
