Responsibilities:
The Noblis mission is to support the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Energy, Installations and Environment and the Department of Defense Sustainable Technology Evaluation and Demonstration (STED) Program and their missions to enable research, development, test and evaluation, and transition to sustainable technologies across the Department of Defense. We are looking to hire a Deputy Program Manager to provide support to DoD STED Program.
The Deputy Program Manager will manage the programmatic and technical aspects for the DoD STED Program. This candidate will have the opportunity to provide significant contributions to the quality execution of work and business success.
- Responsible for program/contract management, oversight, execution and strategic growth.
- Responsible for resource management along with the team manager to align resources and personnel for execution of the program.
- Responsible for program and contract level profit and loss (P&L) and budgeting.
- Effective application of company methodology, policies, and procedures to minimize risk on program.
- Lead program reviews to monitor cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Contribute to efforts developing new business and expanding existing business through client relationship building, identification of technical solutions, and proposal development.
- Assist team manager in executing career development plans for the team.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in technical field preferred.
- 10 years of professional experience, to include experience managing DoD programs, projects, and personnel (or a Master's degree plus 8 years or a PhD plus 6 years).
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage mid-size to large programs. Prior project/program management experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage project status (cost/schedule).
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal; ability to interpret and communicate technical requirements.
- Eligible to obtain a secret clearance.
- Client engagement experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.
- Familiarity with U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force or U.S. Marine Corps commands and systems is a plus.
- Experience with evaluating and transitioning technologies into DoD programs.
- Prior experience with program management and strategic planning is a plus.
- Candidate shall possess an active Secret security clearance.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.
Posted Salary Range:
USD $132,000.00 - USD $206,250.00 /Yr.
