The Business Manager will work directly with the ING Hub Slovakia’s Management Team and will play a key role in the Location’s strategy development, implementation & evaluation. This role acts as the linking pin between the various Business Units & Enabling Functions to ensure effective implementation of our roadmap and agenda.
· Project, Program and Portfolio Management: Manage a centralized portfolio of WB Daily Banking & Transaction Services; ensure that the workstreams & initiatives in the portfolio are rationalized and aligned to the overall Location strategy;
· Project and Program Risks and Issues Management: Identify and evaluate risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints associated with the project, escalating where appropriate. Where necessary, develop, agree on, and implement solutions to overcome these.
· Budgeting: Working closely with functional stakeholders, super circle management team and finance deliver a budget for an area of the organization or conduct complex analyses on budget progress in other areas of the organization (i.e. monitoring overall monitoring of Dynamic Plan)
· Document Preparation: Write and edit materials for various target populations, tailoring the tone and content to match the needs and expectations of each audience (examples: Dashboards, presentations, document preparation, etc.); prepare and analyse data in line with the WB Daily Banking & Transaction Services strategy implementation plan
· Meeting Facilitation: Play an active role in the MT team meetings, ranging from preparing the agenda to setting up and monitoring action plans, document the minutes and follow through on actions; design offsite and strategy planning sessions
· Internal Communications: Working with Communications Team, execute a communications plan in line with the overall WB Daily Banking & Transaction Services strategy or the workstreams that you lead, provide support to super circle lead on communication-related items / initiatives ; ensure that location success stories are regularly updated & communicated (examples: preparation for townhalls, rewards and recognition, announcement of organisational changes for SCL, etc.)
· Organization Structure: Contribute to the definition of organization structure of WB Daily Banking & Transaction Services by recommending reporting lines and roles and responsibilities within the team to align with the wider organization, ensuring organization information is up to date.
· Continuous Improvement: Review existing operations in own area of work and implement innovation processes to generate new ideas and ensure continuous improvements are delivered
· Information and Business Advice: Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving queries and issues and referring very complex or contentious issues to others
· Work scheduling and allocation: Organize own work schedule in order to get the job done, coordinating with support services and assigning short-term tasks to others if necessary.
