Job description

We are seeking an experienced and energetic Home Education Manager to oversee the educational process for four children of varying ages. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement individualized learning roadmaps tailored to the unique needs and interests of each child. You will work closely with parents, external educational institutions and tutors to ensure a high-quality education that fosters curiosity and develops critical thinking skills.

It is essential that you can apply a product and project approach to everything you do in this role. This includes planning educational activities, assessing their effectiveness, and making necessary adjustments to achieve the best outcomes. The ideal candidate should have experience in home education, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to inspire children to learn.

Responisibities:

Development of Educational Programs:

  • Create and adapt individualized curricula for children based on their age, interests, and needs.
  • Implement various educational methodologies and approaches, including traditional, alternative, and project-based learning.
  • Develop a personalized program for each child and implement the plan within it.

Coordination of the Learning Process:

  • Organize and manage daily lessons, including scheduling classes and extracurricular activities.
  • Ensure the availability of necessary educational materials and resources.

Recruitment and Management of Educators:

  • Select qualified teachers/nannies/governessesand specialists to conduct lessons.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of educators’ work and provide feedback.

Monitoring and Assessment of Academic Performance:

  • Conduct regular assessments of students' knowledge and skills.
  • Prepare reports on children's progress and recommendations for further education.

Communication with Parents:

  • Maintain open dialogue with parents regarding children's achievements and challenges.
  • Organize meetings and workshops for tutors and governesses on educational topics.

Organization of Extracurricular Activities:

  • Plan and conduct field trips, workshops, and other events to broaden students' horizons.
  • Collaborate with external organizations to arrange additional programs.

Adaptation to Changes:

  • Flexibility in teaching approaches in response to changes in educational standards or family needs.
  • Continuous updating of knowledge about modern trends in education.

Budget Management:

  • Control expenditures on education, including the purchase of materials and payment for educators.
  • Optimize costs without compromising the quality of the educational process.

Creating a Positive Educational Environment:

  • Foster an atmosphere of support and respect that promotes children's development.
  • Encourage independence and critical thinking among students.

Ensuring Compliance with Legal Standards:

  • Adhere to local educational standards and legal requirements in the field of home education.
  • Facilitate communication with schools, universities, and other educational organizations.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

  • Higher education in pedagogy, psychology, or related fields.
  • At least 3 years of experience in home education, teaching, or educational institutions.
  • Knowledge of various educational methodologies and approaches

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent organizational and management skills.
  • Ability to develop and adapt individualized learning plans for children of different ages and needs.
  • Creative thinking and the ability to design engaging educational activities.
  • Experience in assessing educational outcomes and making adjustments to the learning process.
  • Being hands on
  • Have basics of kids psychology

Communication Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and external educational institutions.
  • Ability to work in a team and effectively collaborate with parents and other professionals.
  • Fluent English and Russian

Personal Qualities:

  • Energy, patience, and the ability to inspire children to learn.
  • High level of responsibility and independence.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changes in the educational process.
  • Resilence.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in modern educational technologies and platforms for remote learning.
  • Experience with tools for planning and evaluating the educational process.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including the possibility to be availiable on weekends;
  • Having recommendations from previous employers or clients will be an advantage.
  • First class honors degree
