PSP Specialist - Japan

This position focuses on enhancing and managing payment strategies tailored to the Japanese market. Key responsibilities include optimizing payment options, conducting market research, ensuring regulatory compliance, collaborating with partners to improve payment experiences, and analyzing data to drive strategic improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies to expand payment options tailored to the Japan market.
• Conduct market research to understand emerging payment trends, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics in Japan.
• Identify new PSP opportunities in Japan to enhance the company's payment options.
• Monitor payment success rates and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate with PSPs to reduce transaction failures and improve user payment experiences.
• Conduct analysis on payment methods preferred by Japanese users and optimize the payment mix accordingly.
• Ensure all payment processing is compliant with Japanese regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with internal compliance teams to mitigate risks and prevent fraud.
• Stay updated on relevant regulatory changes in Japan and implement necessary adjustments.
• Work closely with customer support teams to resolve any payment-related issues for Japanese customers.
• Assist in developing documentation and resources to address frequently asked questions or concerns about payment processes in Japan.
• Track, analyze, and report key metrics related to payment success, user satisfaction, and cost savings.
• Prepare monthly reports for management, including insights and recommendations.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of payment data specific to Japan, identifying trends and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare regular reports detailing performance, market insights, and recommendations for strategic improvements.

Requirements:

• Native in the Japanese language.
• Previous experience in offshore FX, or gambling business is a plus.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Prior experience working with PSPs or in payment processing.
• Strong understanding of Japanese payment methods and customer preferences.
• Knowledge of Japanese financial regulations and compliance standards.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
