We are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager with practical experience in building and maintaining SaaS production infrastructure in Azure (as primary) and Google (as secondary) clouds, who will be instrumental in driving delivery of strategic projects and initiatives within Egnyte cloud infrastructure.

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

 

  • You will be collaborating closely with executive team, senior managers and key staff engineers in India, Poland and US to plan and execute technical roadmap for Egnyte cloud infrastructure, ensuring its alignment with the company’s business objectives and technology strategy.
  • As part of above roadmap execution, you will be managing and reporting various infrastructure programs, including
    • service migrations between Google and Azure cloud environments and/or between different cloud regions,
    • service migrations to Kubernetes
    • service updates related to security, performance, scalability, reliability, and cost optimizations,
    • deployments and rollouts of newly created services to support ever growing portfolio of business functions
    • migrations to new OS and DB systems, or new storage types,
    • updates to build, test and deployment pipelines, logging stacks, monitoring and alerting systems, etc.
  • You will be coordinating specific project tasks and managing dependencies between different functional teams including DevOps, Engineering, SRE, IT, Security, QA, DBA, Build, and similar.
  • You will be reporting to PMO Head in India on operational level, and to PMO Director based in US on strategic level
  • Your primary workplace will be off-site (as Egnyte India is a fully remote team for now)
  • You should expect to travel a few times a year within India borders, to attend internal company meetups and integration events, and occasionally abroad, to Poland and/or to US

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 5 years of experience in technical program management of Microsoft and Google cloud infrastructure projects, and a minimum of 10 years of overall program management experience.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud technologies, and a proven delivery record of infrastructure projects completed in both environments.
  • Good understanding of Kubernetes and Serverless architectures, Databases, compute, network, storage, security, and observability tools in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud
  • Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, service deployments at scale in production environments, and common practices for service- and infrastructure-levels monitoring, alerting, and recovery
  • Solid understanding of non-functional requirements for cloud services and applications, and processes supporting their practical implementation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to deliver an engaging message across various organizational functions and levels
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business, or a related field.
  • Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud certifications will be highly appreciated
