Talent Acquisition Manager / Resourcing Manager

Cape Town 

R40 000 - 50 000 pm neg 

Position Overview: We seek an experienced and results-driven Talent Acquisition Manager / Resourcing Manager to lead and inspire a dynamic team of 4-10 Talent Acquisition Specialists and 2-4 Recruitment Administrators. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in bulk recruitment, preferably within the Generalist RecruitmentBPO or TES sectors, coupled with a proven ability to source top-tier talent proactively. This role is ideal for a high-performing Talent Acquisition Specialist with leadership experience or someone with a history of managing successful recruitment teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:

    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists and Recruitment Administrators, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with company goals.
    • Conduct bi-monthly KPI meetings with team members to track progress, address challenges, and celebrate achievements.
    • Foster a high-performance culture focused on delivering results and maintaining excellent standards of recruitment.
  • Performance Management:

    • Ensure that each team member consistently delivers a minimum of 5 quality CVs per day for open roles.
    • Monitor individual and team performance, providing actionable feedback and development opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:

    • Report directly to the Employer of Record, SA Recruitment Manager, and SA Contract/TES Managers, providing updates on recruitment metrics, team performance, and talent acquisition strategies.
    • Collaborate closely with hiring managers and clients to understand job requirements and align recruitment efforts accordingly.
  • Recruitment Strategy:

    • Drive the development and execution of effective recruitment strategies, balancing proactive talent hunting with traditional methods like advertising.
    • Utilize CRM and ATS platforms to manage the candidate pipeline, track progress, and optimize recruitment workflows.
  • Sourcing Talent:

    • Ensure the team actively hunts for top talent in addition to placing job advertisements, leveraging creative sourcing techniques, networking, and databases.
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for both current and future needs.
  • Compliance and Administration:

    • Oversee recruitment administration processes, ensuring adherence to company policies, industry standards, and compliance regulations.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the ATS/CRM systems.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 5 years in talent acquisition, with at least 2 years in a leadership role managing a team of recruiters in a bulk recruitment environment.
    • Background in BPO, TES, Generalist Recruitment, or related high-volume recruitment industries is highly desirable.
    • Demonstrated success as a top-performing Talent Acquisition Specialist, with hands-on experience in sourcing and hunting talent.
  • Technical Skills:

    • Proficiency in using CRM and ATS platforms for recruitment (e.g., Workday, Bullhorn, BambooHR, or similar systems).
    • Advanced sourcing skills, including Boolean searches, LinkedIn Recruiter, and other headhunting techniques.
  • Soft Skills:

    • Exceptional leadership and coaching abilities to inspire and guide the team toward achieving KPIs.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with team members, stakeholders, and candidates.
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
