Position Overview:
The Admissions Manager will serve as the dynamic and experienced leader of our admissions team in delivering a candidate-centered approach to enrollment at Moreland University. This role is crucial to driving strategic growth, improving the learner experience, and achieving enrollment goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in admissions within the education marketplace, a data-driven mindset, and a strong ability to inspire and manage a team.

What You'll Do
  • Strategic Enrollment Planning: Develop and implement enrollment strategies aligned with institutional goals, focusing on student recruitment, engagement, and retention for all programs.
  •  Team Leadership and Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing admissions team, ensuring professional growth and accountability.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics and reporting to assess recruitment strategies, monitor performance metrics, and make informed, data-driven adjustments to improve enrollment outcomes.
  •  Applicant Engagement and Conversion: Design and oversee initiatives that improve candidate engagement throughout the admissions funnel, from application to enrollment, optimizing conversion rates at each stage.
  • Collaboration with Business Partnership, BDR and Marketing Teams: Work closely with partner teams to align messaging, program information, and outreach campaigns, ensuring consistent and effective communication across all channels.
  •  Process Improvement and Innovation: Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in admissions processes and leverage technology to enhance efficiency, scalability, and student experience.
  • Compliance and Accreditation: Ensure that all admissions practices comply with federal, state, and institutional regulations, as well as accreditation standards.
  • Market Research and Competitor Analysis: Conduct regular assessments of market trends, competitor offerings, and student demographics to ensure Moreland University's admissions strategy remains competitive and responsive to market needs.
  • Reporting and Performance Tracking: Prepare regular reports on key performance indicators, enrollment trends and recruitment activities for senior leadership, identifying areas for improvement and adjusting strategies as needed.

  • What You'll Need to Succeed
  • 7+ years of experience in admissions or enrollment management, preferably within an online or higher education setting, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; potentially a Master’s degree in Education, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics, CRM tools, and enrollment management software; experience with platforms like Salesforce, Slate, or similar is highly desirable.
  • Commitment to providing a supportive and engaging experience for prospective students, with a focus on transparency and responsiveness.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally with academic, marketing, financial aid, and student services departments.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a strategic and solutions-oriented mindset.
