Job Description

As a Healthcare Administrative Assistant, you’ll play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between cutting-edge health assistance and essential administrative tasks. You’ll work closely with a team of specialized health assistants, verifying insurance coverage, booking appointments, and coordinating care plans. Responsibilities
  • Verify insurance coverage by liaising with insurance companies
  • Schedule appointments with healthcare providers, optimizing for patient needs and provider availability
  • Support care plan coordination developed by health assistants
  • Manage internal communication channels for efficient task delegation and updates
  • Interface with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and other partners
  • Handle various administrative tasks in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Attend internal meetings and provide administrative support to the core team
  • Adapt to new systems and processes as the company grows and evolves


Requirements

  • Experience in healthcare administration or related field preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, particularly Intercom
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
  • Adaptability and quick learning capabilities for new systems and processes
  • Experience in startups or agile work environments is a plus
  • Passion for healthcare and improving patient experiences
  • Comfortable with remote work and flexible hours
