- Experience in managing integrations across platforms, particularly with tools like ZohoCRM, Learning Management Systems (LMS), and IPaaS solutions (Zapier, Flowgear, etc.), is crucial. This ensures seamless connectivity across the tech stack, facilitating data flow and interoperability.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and DevOps practices to manage deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and system scalability. This skill ensures that the technology team can operate efficiently in a cloud-first, scalable environment and we are able to integrate into our customers Human Capital Management (HCM) systems, such as WorkDay, SAP SuccessFactors, Cornerstone OnDemand, etc.)
- Skills in data warehousing, ETL, data analysis and reporting, including knowledge of data visualisation tools (e.g., Qlik, Power BI, Tableau) and querying languages (e.g., SQL), are essential for measuring performance and generating insights to guide decisions.
- A solid grasp of cybersecurity fundamentals and compliance with data protection standards (e.g., POPIA) is vital in EdTech, given the sensitivity of student and user data. Familiarity with best practices in securing systems and ensuring privacy compliance is key.
