Job description

Air Liquide is looking for an Inside Sales Account Manager for our team in Brussels/ Herentals.

As an Inside Sales Account Manager at Air Liquide, you are the face of our company. In your role, you will make initial contact with customers via telephone and video meetings with small to medium-sized customers in your region and have a dedicated customer portfolio throughout the Netherlands. You will be a part of the Benelux team that meets once a week in our Herentals office.

To thrive in this role, we believe that presenting products and services over the phone comes naturally to you and you are comfortable handling complaints and queries and turning them into a good customer experience. You are driven and work proactively as you are motivated to keep an eye on sales targets and facilitate future sales. As our department grows and develops, we believe that you as a person have a creative mindset and are happy to see opportunities and solutions where you share your ideas and knowledge to improve our processes.
You will enter a very dynamic new and young team of sales professionals. Our sales team has a strong team feeling and helps each other in every situation.


 

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Your main duties consist of:

  • Daily contact with potential customers where you put your own personal touch and technique. During these first customer contacts, it is important that you have the ability to engage customers by keeping a conversation going with questions and with a focus on closing the sale.
  • Work closely with our outside salesperson to get to know the market and find new potential customers where there will also be a few days out in the field per year, if relevant to the customer, the team and you.
  • You will also be co-responsible for running various marketing campaigns and updating customers on our current and new products during follow-up sales.

Meritorious if you have:

  • Good relationship skills (internal and external)
  • Customer satisfaction oriented
  • Experience with different CRM systems
  • Previous experience selling B2B
  • A positive team spirit with the ability to create trust and commitment

Minimum requirements:

A couple of years of experience in inside sales where communication over the phone comes easily to you, and something you want to continue doing daily.

You speak and understand French & Dutch and are also comfortable with English.

Other information:

We do not expect you to be a gas expert, during the first time in your new job you will receive a thorough training in gases and will continuously take part in our internal sales and gas courses.
