Pay Details: From $46.53 (HEW 2) per hour (Including casual loading and 10.5% super)

• Location: Macquarie University, Wallumattagal Campus, Dharug land, North Ryde

Macquarie University is seeking enthusiastic and energetic current students to join our dynamic Student Belonging Activator team! This role offers the chance to make a real impact by welcoming new students and fostering a vibrant campus environment, all while developing valuable skills for your future career 

 

What will you do? 

As a Student Belonging Activator for 2025, you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Play a pivotal role in the Student Engagement, Inclusion, and Belonging team. 

  • Be a friendly face and source of support for new and current students. 

  • Lead on-campus activations and engagement activities (e.g., Destress for Success, Mindful May). 

  • Participate in calling campaigns to connect with students and provide information about Macquarie programs and services. 

  • Offer wayfinding assistance to students, ensuring they have a smooth experience on campus. 

  • Provide feedback to help improve projects and engagement activities, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. 

  • Develop essential employability skills, opening doors to other job opportunities within the university.

  • A commitment to reliability and adaptability in a role with a variable schedule.
