Responsibilities:

Wound Care Tech assists in the delivery of out-patient wound care in a clinical setting.

  • Change wound dressings;
  • prepare wound treatment rooms.
  • Accurately measure and record wound size in patient record.
  • Apply wound dressings as prescribed by the physician and assist with front office duties.
Qualifications:

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
 
1. Previous experience in a wound care center and/or outpatient clinic preferred.
2. Completion of a Medical Assistant, Nurse Assistant or ER Tech, or similar program required.
3. Current Basic Life Support Card.
