About the Role

SearchStax, Inc. in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect - AI & Solr Search Specialist that will occupy a critical role at the forefront of integrating cutting-edge AI technologies and Solr search capabilities into our product offerings. This highly specialized position demands an individual with deep expertise in both AI engineering, including Large Language Models (LLMs), and Solr, the open-source search platform, to lead innovation in search solutions.

Job responsibilities and duties include:

  • Act as a SME in AI and Solr search technologies within the company, providing advanced technical guidance and innovative solutions that leverage the strengths of both fields to meet complex customer needs.

  • Partner with Account Executives and the Partnerships Team to devise and implement sales strategies that effectively communicate the unique advantages of our AI-enhanced Solr search technologies to a sophisticated audience.

  • Engage deeply with customer challenges to design and propose customized SearchStax solutions that utilize AI and Solr to unlock new potentials in search functionalities and efficiencies.

  • Conduct compelling, in-depth demonstrations of our AI and Solr-driven search solutions, showcasing their capability to transform business operations and deliver unprecedented value.

  • Oversee the planning and execution of detailed Proof-of-Concepts (PoCs) that vividly illustrate the effectiveness, efficiency, and innovation of our AI and Solr search technologies.

  • Provide unmatched pre-sales support by assisting customers in understanding, setting up, and optimizing their AI and Solr search configurations, ensuring the best possible start to their journey with our solutions.

  • Facilitate a flawless handoff of customers to the post-sales team, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the implemented AI and Solr search solutions to maintain continuity.

  • Develop educational materials and contribute insights that highlight the cutting-edge capabilities, benefits, and innovative applications of AI and Solr within our suite of products.

  • Assist in crafting RFP responses that clearly showcase the sophistication, strategic advantage, and comprehensive benefits of our AI-powered Solr search solutions

Minimum Requirements 
  • Master’s degree in Engineering (any field), Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or any related IT field of study plus at least three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained.

  • In the alternative, SearchStax, Inc., will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any field), Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or any related IT field of study plus at least five (5) years of progressive post-degree experience in the job offered or in any related position(s) in which the required experience was gained.

Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, or knowledge with the following:

  • Solr

  • Large Language Models (LLMs)

  • One or more of the following cloud providers: Azure, AWS and GCP

  • One or more of the following cloud-based platforms: Sitecore, Adobe, or Acquia

  • Linux Systems Administration

  • One or more of the following scripting languages: Python or Ruby
