About the role: 

We are looking for a detail-oriented, independent, and results driven Deal Desk Manager to join our Revenue Operations team. You will be responsible for working cross-functionally with our Sales Operations, Customer Success, Legal, Finance, and Logistics teams to provide deal structure, deal strategy, and approval support to our Sales team. You will be responsible for reviewing deals and giving guidance on best practices and ensuring we meet bookings criteria and company guidelines. You will be responsible for your territory assignment Account Executives, building relationships and giving guidance on best practices to ensure smooth transactions. 

How you'll make an impact:

  • Become a consultative business partner to the global sales team to provide them with best practices and guidance on deal structuring, T&Cs, non-standard structures, and policies.
  • Analyze positive and negative growth impact of deals, ensuring adherence to best practices in order to protect the business’s best interests, while also keeping a “customer first” mindset.
  • Review, suggest and give guidance on non-standard Order Form terms on a case-by-case basis, while ensuring all deals adhere to business and revenue recognition policies and are approved by Legal and Finance as needed.
  • Review Order Form submissions for completeness, accuracy and adherence to company booking policies and work to resolve issues that are uncovered.
  • Providing recommendations to continuously improve Order Administration and Deal Desk processes and materials.
  • Contribute to projects and initiatives focused on improving productivity and simplifying processes throughout the sales operations and sales organizations.
  • Work alongside Sales Operations, Legal, and Finance to ensure pricebooks, proposal templates, and order form templates are always up to date in Salesforce.
  • Assist in delivering ongoing enablement on deal structuring, quoting, and approval processes and give guidance on in-flux processes, SOP changes, and policy updates 

What makes you a good fit:

  • 3-5 years in Deal Desk, Order Administration, Finance, Sales Operations, or similar role
  • Strong ownership and leadership skills
  • You love to work in fast-paced environments and thrive on building relationships
  • You can adapt quickly, work with ambiguity, and understand and implement growing policy and SOP changes
  • You love to brainstorm and develop creative solutions that still adhere to business policies
  • You thrive on complex deal structures and finding solutions to meet sales needs
  • Strong business acumen with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a high volume environment
  • Knowledge of direct and indirect sales models and quote-to-cash processes
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Netsuite, Microsoft Excel, CPQ, and G Suite 
  • Federal and State & Local Government contract management experience a plus
  • International contract management experience a plus
  • Knowledge of Hardware business and logistics a plus

Compensation Range: The annual base salary range for this position is $120,000 - $160,000+. Compensation will vary based on factors, including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. In addition to base salary, Skydio full-time employees are eligible to enroll in our benefit plans and take advantage of a variety of incentives and stipends.
