ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to continuous growth, we are excited to welcome a motivated Director of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) to help us align our acquisition and growth strategies with business goals to drive organizational success. As an M&A Director, you’ll play a vital role in identifying strategic acquisition opportunities, leading due diligence, and managing integration processes to enhance our competitive edge in the digital product and technology space. This role is integral to the creation of a new business area, offering the unique opportunity to shape its foundation and direction. Working closely with executive leadership, finance, and product teams, you’ll have the chance to make a meaningful impact on both our product offerings and operational processes.

YOUR MISSION
As a M&A Director at Leadtech, you will:
- Collaborate with executive leadership and development teams to define and execute an M&A strategy aligned with the company’s growth and expansion objectives.
- Research and analyze the market to identify companies, technologies, or products that provide synergies and align with strategic growth goals.
- Lead the due diligence process, ensuring a thorough evaluation of investment opportunities, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and regulatory considerations.
- Manage the negotiation of M&A agreements with a solid understanding of legal, contractual, and regulatory aspects specific to mergers and acquisition.
- Establish and maintain relationships with potential partners, lead contract negotiations, and secure favorable deal terms that support strategic objectives.
- Oversee the integration of acquisitions, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions, operational alignment, and cultural fit.
- Serve as a key point of contact between finance, product, legal, and executive teams to ensure smooth communication, aligning expectations and responsibilities across departments.
- Monitor and report on the performance of acquired assets, ensuring that strategic objectives are met and identifying areas for improvement.
- Recruit, develop, and manage a team focused on achieving strategic acquisition goals, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Requirements
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD
We’re looking for someone with a balance of hard and soft skills who can thrive in a dynamic, cross-functional environment. Here’s what we’d love to see:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, or a related field, ideally within the digital product or technology industry.
- Proven experience in managing and developing M&A-focused teams, with the ability to set clear objectives, drive performance, and foster a collaborative, results-oriented environment.
- Strong knowledge of due diligence processes, financial modeling, company valuation, and risk analysis.
- Expertise in the contractual and legal aspects of M&A, with the ability to lead complex negotiations and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with strong project management abilities.
