Job description

We are looking for a talented AWS Developer to join bank operating global scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable and efficient cloud infrastructure using AWS services like Lambda, CloudWatch, S3, and others.
  • Analyze and manage cloud expenses to ensure cost-effective solutions using knowledge of financial operations and cloud cost management.
  • Ensure compliance with industry security standards across all deployed cloud services.
  • Provide expert advice and best practices for cloud deployment and management to team members and stakeholders.
  • Lead the onboarding of junior cloud specialists, sharing knowledge and best practices.
  • Manage projects involving cloud migrations, from planning through to execution, ensuring smooth transitions from on -premises infrastructure to AWS.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies to manage project timelines and deliverables effectively.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of server virtualization with VMware as well as Windows/Linux distributions.
  • In-depth experience with the common cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, SAP, etc.).
  • Experience with the following services: AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, AWS, IoT, API Gateway, CloudFormation, EventBridge, Glue, among others.
  • Understanding of price drivers and cloud cost management (Financial Operations).
  • Proficient in: Python, Terraform.
  • Advanced knowledge of information security operations in cloud architectures.
  • Fluency in English.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiar with Agile methodologies.
  • Familiar with ITIL Experience in using common tools like JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, etc. for Agile projects, and service operations.
  • Experience in migrating from On-Premises to AWS.
