About the role


We are currently seeking a Software QA Engineer to be part of an Agile/Scrum squad working closely with software engineers, testers and DevOps engineers developing the Vimachem Pharma 4.0 Platform. This is a highly visible role in Vimachem’s Engineering team that will ensure high quality software deliverables that meet the specifications and requirements of Vimachem’s Platform.

What will you do as a Software QA Engineer?


  • Perform both manual and automated testing, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and high-quality standards for our SaaS solution.
  • Engage closely with other team members from development and product team, to ensure we deliver value to our customers. Collaborate with fellow testers and software engineers to enhance the technical evolution of our product and refine development practices.
  • Review software bug reports and identify areas of concern, ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained.
  • Work with other distributed teams to drive the future of our product.
  • Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, so you can help drive technical and process improvements.


The main qualifications for this Software QA Engineer role are: 


  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science and/or Information Systems.
  • 3+ years of experience in Software Testing & Test Automation, using up-to-date technologies to realize this vision.
  • Experience in Software Quality and how it can be improved.
  • Selenium/Cypress/Playwright familiarity with designing and building automation test frameworks.
  • Knowledge of the approved test automation frameworks in a fast-paced agile environment.
  • Enthusiasm for Cloud Architecture, and the discernment to select the most suitable architecture for each project.
  • Ability to find issues (bugs) and describe them in detail with all the required technical information.
  • Improving testing practices and processes is just part of your day.
  • Familiarity with UI testing and API testing on RESTful Services (.NET).
  • Good understanding of .NET, C#, Typescript or any other Object Oriented Programming language.
