Job description

This is a remote position.

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Regional Account Executive (RAE). The RAE is results oriented with strong communication skills. Your key responsibilities will be to drive new business growth, expand our market presence, and foster strong relationships with existing clients to ensure successful renewal agreements. These responsibilities include identifying prospects, building a qualified sales pipeline using both outbound and inbound leads, upselling existing customers and closing business against quota. The Account Executive will be highly motivated and drive positive customer and prospect experiences that support the company’s overall sales goals with a proven record sales record.

RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Proactively call and establish relationships with new customers and secure contracts to achieve revenue goals.
  • Drive revenue growth for an assigned account base by upselling, cross-selling, and expanding the portfolio of solutions and helping to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with Sales Development Reps to set meetings with target prospective clients, as well as coordinate additional follow-up activities as needed.
  • Learn and advocate to position Pinnacle’s full suite of services and products.
  • Coordinate with sales and marketing leadership to develop territory based marketing and engagement plans that accelerate our customer sales cycle.
  • Consistently and accurately record all sales activities in CRM.
  • Provide forecasts on best case and most likely sales volumes over relevant time periods.
  • Work with Client Services team during the sales cycle to proactively address any obstacles with new customers and properly set expectations for post sales experience.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure completion of the sale and/or other sales operations requirements.
  • Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace.
  • Attend market and company events that drive business prospecting for your territory.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in Business or related field and 3-5 years’ experience.
  • Self-motivated and strong work ethic.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in B2B, sales or business development.
  • Experience with working in a CRM environment.
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed personal quotas and goals.
  • Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation.
  • Professional communication skills and ability to connect with finance business leaders.
  • Positive attitude towards work, teammates and working with colleagues in other departments.
  • A comprehensive understanding of the retail banking industry, including products, services, processes, regulatory and compliance requirements is a plus.
  • Ability to travel an estimated 30% of the time to attend industry events to meet with clients, partners, and company team members.
