Job Description

Overall job purpose:

As a part of Global Investor and Distribution Solutions (GIDS) Platform Services team, we support the organization to win business by enabling teams to deliver value streams faster and making sure site is reliable and resilience.

Responsibilities:

Your day-to-day work will consist of:

• Build and support Platform As A Service (PaaS) on both SS&C Private Cloud and AWS
• Work with teams in Thailand, India, US, UK, Canada, Australia and more to support day-to-day request and provide guidance to teams on DevOps practices and tools
• Perform on-call duty to support the platforms we provide. We do “follow-the-sun” support model for global support team.
• Ensure our system comply with regulatory, security and audit requirements

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information System or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in DevOps related role for senior level
• Good English communication
• Linux system engineering expertise
• CI/CD pipeline experience, preferably with GitHub Actions
• Infrastructure as code experience, preferably with Terraform
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Salt
• Experience with binary and artifacts management such as JFrog Artifactory
• Logging and motoring systems such asGrafana, Promtail and Loki
• Kubernetes, Helm and GitOps tool such as ArgoCD
• Kubernetes administration experience is advantaged
• Good understanding of Microservices Architecture and Service Mesh

Nice To Have

• AWS
  • EC2, ECS, RDS, S3, Cloudfront, WAF, API Gateway, Lamdba, Elasticache, Elasticsearch, SQS, SNS, EKS

• Expertise in at least one of the programming language, preferably Python
• Experience with management of Kafka platform
• Experience with Keycloak or APIM
• Experience with high availability data platform such as PostgreSQL, Redis, Nifi, Airflow, Pentaho, etc.
