The Data Analyst is responsible for the day-to-day activities including the collecting, analyzing, and interpretation of data to support decision-making and drive business growth. The Data Analyst will work with diverse datasets and contribute to the development of data driven strategies. The Data Analyst shall monitor and make recommendations based upon clinical and operational data, metrics, and benchmarking. The Data Analyst will achieve this by extracting and analyzing data, building reports, dashboards, and reviewing operational and clinical performance reporting. The Data Analyst will foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying operational patterns and assisting in the systematic implementation of effective practices designed to reduce error, increase operational efficiency, and improve patient outcomes. The Data Analyst will serve as a resource to leadership to help reduce costs, enhance revenues, achieve effective utilization and quality goals and objectives.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, data analytics, statistics, or related field
EXPERIENCE:
1. Two (2) years demonstrated work experience in a healthcare setting.
2. Proficient in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as tableau, power BI
3. Experience creating and editing Crystal Reports
4. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university in business, statistics, mathematics, engineering, or a related field
EXPERIENCE:
1. Experience with Python, JavaScript
2. Experience in Healthcare Data Analysis
3. Experience with EMR and claims data

1. Conducts case reviews and evaluations of 911 communications for measurement of protocol compliance
2. Maintains and reports Mission Lifeline metrics monthly
3. Analyzes CAD data to determine trends in response time and resource utilization
4. Initiates and analyzes CARES reports
5. Creates, Edits, and Analyzes reports using variety of reporting tools.
6. Presents financial, operational, and administrative data metrics at regular intervals determined by leadership team
7. Maintains data reported on Mon EMS Quality Scorecard
8. Collaborates with multi-disciplinary teammates to understand operational requirements and objectives.
9. Assists in research including data collection and written reporting
10. Develop, support and deliver data analysis and services such as dashboards, scorecards and reports, to measure and trend key Quality Metrics, performance improvement initiatives, and support regulatory reporting.
11. Maintains security and privacy of all company and patient information at all times in accordance HIPAA and all other local, state, and federal regulations
12. Performs data collection and analysis – Develops reports, charts, and infographics to share data
13. Ensures Data Quality Assurance by establishing data quality standards and procedures to ensure data integrity and reliability
14. Helps to identify problem data areas and work to develop strategies to improve data capture, quality, and accuracy.
15. Develops data visualization tools such as infographics, social media posts, annual reports, etc.
