ACCOUNT DIRECTOR

The Account Director at Common Thread Collective (CTC) will play a pivotal role in managing and growing key client relationships. This senior-level position focuses on client retention, expanding business opportunities, and delivering exceptional client service. This individual will leverage their eCommerce marketing expertise, sales acumen, and account management experience to provide strategic guidance and drive mutual growth. The Account Director will build strong relationships, particularly with client executives, hosting events, providing tailored insights, and aligning CTC’s solutions with client needs.

NECESSARY SKILLS

eCommerce Marketing Expertise

  • In-depth understanding of eCommerce platforms, digital advertising channels, conversion optimization, and customer acquisition strategies to drive client success.

Sales and Upselling Proficiency

  • Skilled in identifying, pitching, and closing upsell and cross-sell opportunities, with a strong track record in client renewals and revenue growth.

Data Analysis and Forecasting

  • Ability to interpret marketing data, analyze trends, and create accurate revenue forecasts to inform both client and internal strategy.

Contract Negotiation

  • Proficient in negotiating contract terms that align with client needs and CTC’s goals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.

Relationship-Building: 

  • Exceptional ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, especially with executive-level stakeholders, fostering trust and loyalty.

Problem-Solving and Conflict Resolution:

  •  Skilled in addressing client concerns and resolving conflicts with a calm, solution-oriented approach that maintains positive relationships and client satisfaction.

Strategic Communication: 

  • Excellent communicator who can convey complex ideas clearly, tailor messages to different audiences, and ensure alignment across client and internal teams.

 

DOMAIN

MANAGEMENT

  • The Account Director will be responsible for the relationships of CTC’s top clients. They will report directly into the VP of Sales

ORIENTATION

  • This role will be primarily client facing but will have to have deep ties to the internal CTC team.

 

WHAT’S IN IT FOR ME?

SALARY

  • $150,000 base salary, annually
    • This is prior to any benefits (see the “ABOUT US” Section for additional details)
  • Bonus Structure | 25% of Base Salary based on reaching Goals
  • Commissions | Commissions awarded based on additional revenue attainment from Upsells and Partnerships
