We are seeking a skilled Security Analyst to join our Higher Education division. This role will focus on monitoring, responding to, and mitigating security threats in our Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the Network Operations Center (NOC) and other teams to ensure the security and integrity of client networks and systems.
The salary range for this position is $110,000-$145,000 depending on experience.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
Threat Monitoring & Response:
- Monitor our environment for security breaches.
- Collaborate with the NOC and other teams to respond to detected threats and vulnerabilities.
Incident Response
- Act as the point person for security incidents in our MSP environment.
- Provide leaderships in regards to investigations, response and mitigation of threats in partnership with the NOC and other stakeholders.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation
- Perform risk assessment on client networks and systems.
- Recommend effective mitigation strategies.
- Promote culture of security awareness among NOC and other teams
Security Tool Management
- Manage and maintain security infrastructure for our clients including firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
This security analyst will sit within the Higher Education division of Boldyn Networks. While focused on our client environment, they will work closely with other groups, including Group Security.
