Job description

Ritter Insurance Marketing is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Compliance Specialist to add to our Compliance team! This position offers a hybrid work-from-home schedule upon completion of training.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the implementation and management of compliance policies and procedures
  • Supporting the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of downstream partner oversight activities
  • Assisting the Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer and Compliance & Risk Management Lead with compliance education and training for independent agents
  • Maintaining effective business relationships with vendors, outside auditors and regulators, industry compliance teams and officers, and professional trade groups
  • Reviewing the Ritter IM consumer-facing website and marketing materials to ensure compliance
  • Completing miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Chief Compliance & Privacy Officer and Compliance & Risk Management Lead

Skills/Requirements
  • Three or more years of experience in the compliance field
  • One or more years of auditing experience
  • Experience with IT, Security, and Privacy Policy based on federal (HIPAA, CMS, NIST), HITRUST, and various state requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) or similar certification is preferred
