Technical Trainee - SW Script

We are an automotive supplier, a partner to all automakers worldwide. In our Research and Development center in Prague we employ seven hundred engineers. They are those who stand behind the latest systems of active safety (ADAS) and autonomous driving. What does it mean? Software, hardware engineers, together with mechanical designers, test and system engineers develop sensors and systems for safe and comfortable driving. Automated parking systems, automated emergency braking, blind spot detection and road sign recognition are just a few examples.

We are looking for a part-time student for the position of a SW Technical Trainee in our R&D Center in Prague. As a trainee you will be a part of our Digitalization team.

The SW Technical Trainee will be responsible for providing support of the site in the script development and programming and will support internal processes focused on improvement and digitalization.

YOUR CHALLENGES?

•  Providing support for the site/entity in script development and programming

• Support of internal processes improvement and digitalization

• Development and programing of scripts for internal process improvement and digitalization                                      

• Development of corresponding tools for process of validation and verification (user interface, data convertors)                                  

•  Documentation of implemented solutions according to Valeo Standard 

• Maintenance and customization of implemented solutions according to current needs                                                           

• Perform reviews on a regular basis

• Facilitate and contribute to technical communication with relevant departments 

• Comply with company Quality processes

• Bachelor degree in the field of Computer Science

• Knowledge of programming in Python, C, Java script, google scripting

• Active hands-on approach

• Analytical thinking

• Good level of English to communicate with international teams
