We are seeking an experienced, high-performing Sales Director with an expertise in data and analytics sales, specifically within the e-commerce and retail verticals, to drive the growth of Bright Insights across retailers, marketplaces, and brands throughout the USA. 

This is a hands-on role focused on expanding our presence and impact in these key verticals.


Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end direct sales of Bright Insights into retailers, marketplaces and brands.
  • Develop your pipe, from lead generation to closing deals - you must be a hunter!
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize sales performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of your customers and prospects — their business, use cases, needs, objectives, projects, and budgets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to successfully and promptly deliver on customer requirements. 
  • Work with Marketing to optimize strategy for customer acquisition.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of B2B SaaS experience selling data and / or analytics solutions within the e-commerce and retail verticals.
  • Proven success in managing and executing both remote and F2F sales cycles of $50-$500K+ in value.
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding annual sales targets.
  • Proficient in using CRM software and other sales platforms.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent consultative sales skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

*This is a remote, USA based IC position
