Procurement Specialist
This is a contract position in located in Redmond, WA 

About this Position

This role focuses on developing and managing sourcing strategies for defined categories or sub-categories, supporting business goals through effective procurement practices. The Procurement Specialist will oversee sourcing processes, manage materials and reports, and provide guidance to business areas on procurement best practices.

Job Responsibilities

• Define and implement category strategies by understanding business needs.
• Apply knowledge of business drivers to guide sourcing decisions.
• Advise on procurement policies and best practices.
• Manage sourcing activities to ensure timely, budget-conscious results.
• Build long-term partnerships with key suppliers.
• Ensure adherence to sourcing standards and processes.

Job Skills/Requirements

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• Analytical and decision-making capabilities
• Understanding of procurement techniques and supply chain management
• Experience in procurement or purchasing

Pay Range

• $30 - $35/hour
