Job Description

SIXT is growing exponentially in the US and to help build on that momentum, we are in search of a Key Account Manager - West Coast to focus on acquiring new corporate clients and grow existing ones. This person will identify, analyze, and develop relationships with corporate clients by providing premium fleet options globally and a premium user experience.

YOUR SKILLS COUNT

  • Attitude - You are Charismatic, empathic, and own strong relationship-building skills. You are also an excellent communicator and negotiator
  • Training - You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship with an additional qualification or a degree in economics and have a sound understanding of numbers
  • Experience - You have several years of professional experience as an Account Manager, preferably in the field of mobility services, the travel industry or generally in the automotive industry with a focus on major customers
  • Tools - You already have knowledge of CRM tools and are a professional in dealing with MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Mindset - You do not shy away from big names in the industry and important decision-makers and are flexible and willing to go the extra mile for our customers

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Find leads and potential customers or the company through different lead sources
  • Build relationships with potential clients and existing customers to ensure repeat business
  • Negotiate agreements and ensure customers’ commitments are respected
  • Traveling to clients within a defined geographical area to build and maintain relationships
  • Oversee the strategic planning of sales activities and have regular review meetings to monitor revenue development & growth 
  • Help oversee customer-specific solution implementations for our corporate clients 
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with clients
  • Represent Sixt at industry events 
  • Generate revenue by closing new clients with rentals needs in the US, but also abroad 

Qualifications

About You: 

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related fields  
  • 4+ years’ experience in B2B sales/account management within the travel industry, mobility services sector, automotive industry, or related 
  • Must be based on the West Coast 
  • Proven success in portfolio growth and successful negotiations 
  • Working experience with CRMs systems  
  • Functional knowledge of tracking, managing, and presenting KPIs
