We are seeking a highly capable HRIS analyst to enhance the performance of our HR technologies. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in HRIS and demonstrate expertise in system management, data analysis, and process improvement. In this role, your duties include optimizing the performance of our HR systems, gathering data, and making recommendations based on performance metrics. The HRIS Analyst is responsible for managing and maintaining the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) within an organization. They ensure accurate and up-to-date employee data, generate reports and analytics, and support HR professionals and employees regarding HRIS usage. The HRIS Analyst may also be involved in system upgrades, data migration, and process improvements related to HR technology. They collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, system functionality, and compliance with data privacy regulations. Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

What you’ll do:
  • System Management:
    • Oversee the daily operation and maintenance of the HRIS, ensuring system functionality and data accuracy.
    • Coordinate with IT and HR teams to implement system updates, upgrades, and modifications.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, providing technical support to HR staff and end-users.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies and regulations.
    • Develop, generate, and analyze reports to provide actionable insights for HR strategies and decision-making.
    • Create and maintain dashboards to track key HR metrics and trends.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to streamline HR processes and enhance system functionality.
    • Collaborate with HR team members to design and implement process improvements and automation solutions.
    • Provide training and support to HR staff on system use and best practices.
    • Prepared end-user documentation or training materials as needed.
  • Project Management:
    • Lead or participate in HRIS projects, including system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
    • Develop project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
    • Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders, addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Compliance and Security:
    • Ensure HRIS compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies.
    • Implement and maintain security protocols to protect sensitive employee data.
    • Conduct regular system audits to ensure compliance and data security.
What you have:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as an HRIS Analyst.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and data management principles.
  • Proficient in data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools.  (e.g., advanced Excel).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience leading HRIS projects.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of compliance and data security standards.

  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP).
  • Experience with HRIS integrations and API management.
  • Familiarity with SQL and database management.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis and business intelligence tools.
