Overview:
IDC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Digital Product Manager to lead the development and management of our digital products. The role will report to the Vice President of Digital Product Management for our IT Buyer product. The Senior Digital Product Manager will be responsible for defining and executing the product strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of digital solutions for IT Buyer that meet customer needs and business objectives.

This position can be based in an approved US location. We will consider remote approved Canadian locations (Alberta, British Columbia, and Nova Scotia) or in the Greater Toronto area. Candidates located in the Greater Toronto area are required to come into our downtown office in a hybrid work environment 1 day per week.

Responsibilities:
- Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with business goals and market needs. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product decisions.
- Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from ideation and concept through to launch and iteration. Work closely with engineering, design, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and successful delivery of high-quality digital products.
- Understand customer needs and pain points through research, user feedback, and data analysis. Translate these insights into actionable product requirements and features.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and customer support, to ensure alignment on product goals and to drive product adoption. Act as the primary point of contact for all product-related inquiries.
- Use analytics and metrics to measure product performance and user engagement. Continuously optimize the product based on data insights and user feedback.
- Lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Prioritize product features, enhancements, and bug fixes based on business impact, technical feasibility, and customer value. Manage the product backlog and ensure clarity and alignment on priorities.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in digital product management, technology, and user experience. Apply this knowledge to drive product innovation and competitive differentiation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in product management, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role, preferably in a digital or technology-focused company.
- Strong understanding of digital product development, user experience (UX) design, and agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven track record of delivering successful digital products that meet customer needs and drive business results.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to inform product decisions and measure success.
- Leadership qualities, with experience managing and mentoring a team of product managers.
- Proficiency in product management tools such as JIRA, Trello, Aha!, or similar tools. Familiarity with analytics platforms: Google Analytics, Mix-panel,etc.
- Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of the digital landscape.
- Ability to think strategically while managing the details of execution.

Salary range and additional compensation, including discretionary bonuses and incentive pay, are determined by a rigorous review process. This process considers the experience, education, certifications, and skills required for the specific role, equity with similarly situated employees, as well as employer-verified US region-specific market data provided by an independent 3rd party partner. The expected total annual compensation, depending on location and experience, is between $170,000 and $210,000 and is inclusive of base salary and variable compensation (if applicable).
