Front desk Receptionist
Location- Hartford, CT,06103
Contract Duration: 3 Months (Temp to Perm)
Shift Hours: M-F (8:00 am -5:00 pm)

Manager's Job Description:


Daily duties include 70% Reception, Answering phones, greeting Guests; Making coffee, ensuring coffee supplies are replenished; Assisting in Mailroom when needed. No extensive lifting, standing or walking. A successful candidate will have reception background and be able to provide a high level of customer service capable of communicating in a positive manner with Attorneys and their clients. Worksite address is 20 Church Street, Hartford, CT 06103 United States.

Provides exceptional customer service in a legal environment by supporting law partners, paralegals, and legal administrative assistants. This position is focused on maintaining professionalism and delivering high-quality service to clients, visitors, and employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet all visitors and employees, ensuring a professional welcome.
  • Schedule and prepare meeting rooms with necessary supplies and technology.
  • Answer incoming calls professionally, following established etiquette.
  • Support firm initiatives, events, and philanthropic activities.
  • Perform clerical duties, including document preparation, file maintenance, calendar management, and appointment scheduling.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including light housekeeping and hospitality tasks.
  • Develop professional relationships with clients and employees.
  • Understand firm culture and maintain visitor security procedures.
  • Monitor staff locations to efficiently handle calls, visitors, and inquiries.
  • Act as firm concierge, offering area information and recommendations.
  • Maintain lobby appearance and order supplies as needed.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills with a commitment to professionalism.
  • Ability to handle clerical tasks and manage schedules.
  • Knowledge of legal procedures and terminology is a plus.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Familiarity with security protocols and hospitality in a professional environment.
