Your day at NTT DATA

The Senior Associate Analytics and Supply Chain Specialist provides support to the NTT Global Data Center Americas Supply Chain Team, a program focused Construction Procurement and Supplier Management Organization. The scope of the team is inclusive of Owner-Furnished, Contractor-Installed (“OFCI”) electrical and mechanical equipment, General Contractor, Architect & Engineering, Commissioning Agent, Building Monitoring Systems Contractor, and Specialty Consultant Services. The primary objective of this role is to enable supply chain solutions and its optimization, processes, and use of resources.

The successful candidate for this role is a data steward who excels in analyzing data to drive informed decision making, creating insightful reports, and ensuring data accuracy and integrity. They should also be proficient in data visualization, predictive analysis, and effectively communicating findings to tell a story in retrospect and provide future use applications.

What you'll be doing

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain pricing databases and benchmark data. Implement models to efficiently analyze data and forecast future costs.

  • Perform global and regional supplier volume discount / rebate calculations after ensuring accurate basis of application.

  • Facilitate Requests for Proposal (RFP) and Requests for Quotation (RFQ) processes.

  • Conduct proposal and quotation commercial analysis in response to RFPs and RFQs, document results, and state conclusions.

  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to drive department efficiencies.

  • Develop and/or collect Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to create presentation content for Supplier Business Reviews (SBR’s).

  • Establish and/or maintain PowerBI dashboards, templates, and other tools to improve automation.

  • Enter Purchase Order numbers into NTT GDCA Supply Chain PowerBI OFCI Tracker and review for supplier information accuracy.

  • Administer the Supply Chain Operations SharePoint by adding users, maintaining permissions, auditing timely upload of Supplier submittals, etc.

  • Create and route OFCI change orders and update log.

  • Resolve OFCI invoice inquiries.

  • Provide support with availability of the necessary resources to enable the Supply Chain team to execute everyday activities.

  • Support strategic projects including but not limited to those that identify supply chain risk.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Impeccable attention to detail and production of timely high-quality work.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and drive data driven results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Organized, analytical, and structured with excellent communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong capability and expertise in MS Office Suites, preferably in Excel and PowerPoint, PowerBI and SharePoint. Visio and/or process mapping skills are desired.

  • Works well in a team environment and independently, gives and receives clear expectations well.

  • Recognizes information patterns and trends.

  • Is analytically orientated, seeks to understand the how and the why, and strives for continuous improvement.

  • Professionally summarizes analysis, to effectively communicate its meaning, tailored to various audiences.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • College degree in Supply Chain, Analytics, Business, IT and/or professional certifications.

  • 2-5 years of experience within a supply chain and/or analytics environment, preferably in the construction, mission critical, data center, semi-conductor, IT or similar sectors.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Use of sight, hearing, and voice as well as motor skills.

  • Able to hear and speak on a telephone.

  • Close visual work on a computer.

  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate any required computer keyboard, mouse, and other technical instruments.

  • Familiarity with construction sites and factory hazards and ability to navigate project sites safely.

WORK CONDITIONS & OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • This position is remote supporting the U.S. with occasional need to be onsite in either a shared workspace or construction jobsite.

  • Extensive daily usage of workstation or computer.

This is a remote position that requires reliable internet connection and electricity. A monthly stipend is provided to cover expenses associated with working remotely and use of a personal mobile device, if applicable.


NTT Global Data Centers Americas, Inc. offers competitive compensation based on experience, education, and location. Base salary for this position is $ 96,000 - $ 137,500.


All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance.
