Every day, Cambia’s dedicated Managers of Workplace Operations are living our mission to make health care easier and lives better. As a member of the Facilities and Physical Security team, our Managers of Workplace Operations oversee the day-to-day operations of a facility or portfolio of facilities leading a team of facilities management, facilities engineering and workplace strategy staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities, managing vendor relationships and develop and implement workplace strategies and support services to successfully align Cambia culture, workspace, technology and workplace practices all while providing exceptional customer service to our employees and visitors. What You Bring to Cambia: 

Qualifications:  

Bachelor’s Degree and 7-10 years of experience in facilities management, operations, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a management role or equivalent combination of education and experience.  CFM (Certified Facilities Manager) or FMP (Facilities Management Professional) certification preferred.

What You Will Do at Cambia:  

  • Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of our facilities, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other systems. Understand critical assets and the risks/impacts of their failure.  Proactively communicate risks and remediations to client. Closely work with vendor partners and subject matter experts to ensure that the proper maintenance, emergency response and change management are being employed.

  • Workplace Strategy: In collaboration with the Director Real Estate & Facilities, develop and implement short and long-range Workplace Strategy, identifying alternative solutions to minimize costs, maximize space optimization, attract and retain employees and address employee trends of the future. Direct the management of warehouse/inventory management and budget. Set direction for team to provide CAFM software, maintain all building floor plans, track and report all occupancy/vacancy, and provide tools and information on REAF website. 

  • Vendor Management: Manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.

  • Space Planning and Management: Coordinate space planning, layout, and allocation to ensure efficient use of facilities and alignment with business needs.

  • Operational Efficiency: Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall workplace experience.

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and stakeholders, ensuring prompt resolution of facilities-related issues and requests.

  • Budgeting and Cost Control: Manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective operations.

  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and identify and mitigate risks associated with facilities operations.

  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor a team of facilities staff, including coordinators, technicians, strategists and contractors.

  • Project Management: Manage small to medium-sized projects, including renovations, upgrades, and special events.

  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, including employees, management, and external partners to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

Work Environment:

  • Work primarily performed in office environment.

  • Travel required locally or out of state.

  • May be required to work outside of normal hours.

The expected hiring range for a Manager, Workplace Operations is $93,000 - $117,000/year depending on skills, experience, education, and training; relevant licensure / certifications; and performance history. The bonus target for this position is 15%.  The current full salary range for this role is $93,000 - $153,000/year.
