Responsibilities:

 

IDEAL is looking to add a dynamic Business Development Sales Manager to our growing sales team.  This is a remote role with considerable travel required. 

 

What the role is all about:

 

  • Creating and executing a strategic plan to deliver incremental revenue to the Industrial business segment
  • Developing relationships with Industrial distributors and rep agencies contractors focused on these verticals and leveraging those relationships to sell IDEAL products
  • Be an “expert” and point of contact for the Industrial Business segment for both internal and external customers
  • Working closely with product team to identify new product development opportunities and drive the launch of new products in market. 
  • Developing a sales strategy and working with rep teams to execute the strategy delivering on revenue growth targets.
  • Supporting the Sr. National Account Sales Managers/Regional Managers where distributors are focused on these verticals
  • Negotiate contracts and cost changes with Industrial customers.
  • Analyze sales trends and market gaps do develop selling strategies.
  • Work cross functionally with operations and customer service to achieve customer fill rates and on time targets.
  • Identifying new channels of distribution and end user target
Qualifications:

 

 

Who you are:

 

  • 3-5 years’ experience in sales and/or marketing with a record of demonstrated success
  • Ability to develop and execute a strategic plan
  • Outgoing and energetic person who enjoys engaging others and building relationships
  • Goal oriented with the desire to achieve exceed sales targets
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Develop sales PPT decks and present to customers
  • Creative problem solver with strategic thinking skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.
  • College or University graduate
  • Willing to travel as needed - estimated up to 35%
